Meadowbrook College joined the River Learning Trust on 1st April 2025, on the dissolution of the Radcliffe Academy Trust.

The River Learning Trust (RLT) is a Multi-Academy Trust responsible for a number of schools and a school centred initial teacher training provider (SCITT). Through the RLT Scheme Of Delegation For Schools, the Trust delegates the running of the school to a Local Governing Body, chaired by Andrew Creese. 

The Governing Body is responsible for ensuring that Meadowbrook College is managed in accordance with its ethos and values, for overseeing the appointment and professional development of staff and for setting and reviewing the school’s curriculum. Trustees have the final approval of Governors recommended by the Local Governing Body. The Chairs of Meadowbrook College's Local Governing Body are appointed by the other Local Meadowbrook College Governors on an annual basis.
