In 2017/18 we had 53 learners taking examinations.
98% of students achieved at least 1 pass at GCSE Level 2
32% achieved 5 or more GCSEs at Grade 9-1 (50% of students achieved 4 or more GCSEs at Grade 9-1
30% achieved 5 or more GCSEs at Grade 9-1 including English & Maths
30% achieved at least 1 GCSE at Grade 9-4
2% achieved 5 or more GCSEs at Grade 9-4
Overall we had a 41% increase in the number of passes achieved at Level 2.
Achievement by students with SEN, LAC and Pupil Premium did comparably well against 'all' students.
Boys achieve less well than girls in the number scoring 5 Grades 9-1 and 5 Grades 9-4.
Overall, we reduced the number of subjects being studied by students this year but more students achieved higher grades in the subjects they studied. We had a higher rate of pass in English and Maths but this remains an area of focus for us next year - securing a qualified Maths teacher will help this enormously.
