EXAMS 2020

BTEC qualifications

The majority of our students have studied a BTEC qualification this year and as you know Pearson - the awarding body for BTECs has reversed its decision to issue the calculated grades they provided and have asked us to wait for further news.  We will issue these results to you as soon as we can.

UPDATED NEWS: As of 2pm today we still do not have our BTEC results released.  These will now be released as and when they come in but most likely not until after the Bank Holiday weekend.  Staff return to school from the summer break on Tuesday and we hope we have them all in by that day.  We will contact all students by phone with their results when we have them.

Please do contact us, if we have not already contacted you, if you need our help with your next step: applying for college/job/training apprenticeship/preparing for or attending an interview/anything else that will help you successfully move on.

If you have any concerns about your grades and wish to appeal, please inform us as soon as you can.

November Examinations

As you know there is an opportunity to sit a 'real' exam in November in order to improve your grade.  If you would like to do this please let us know as soon as possible.  We must place all entries by the second week of September.  If you are unsure if you should do this or not - please call us and we can talk this through with you.
